Length: Four Semesters (Two years of full-time study).
Purpose: This degree is the first two years of a bachelor’s degree in the business field, including majors such as accounting, economics, finance, management, and marketing.
Transfer Virginia: This program is aligned with the Transfer Virginia Business common curriculum. Students are strongly encouraged to consult their academic advisor and review program options using the Transfer Virginia Portal, www.transfervirginia.org.
Admission Requirements: Students who meet the admission requirements to the College are eligible for enrollment into the program. Individuals are expected to be proficient in basic English, mathematics, and reading. Appropriate developmental and/or corequisite courses are available for those who need to update their skills.
Program Description: This degree combines general education with fundamentals of sound business theories and practices. Graduates may transfer to complete the requirements for a bachelor’s degree.
Graduation Requirements: Students must complete the required courses in curriculum and achieve a 2.0 minimum grade point average to receive this academic award.
