Program Information: The Career Studies Certificate (CSC) in Millwright prepares students for entry-level positions in the industrial maintenance and repair field. Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on training, the program focuses on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and mechanical systems. Students will gain proficiency in a variety of skills, including precision measurement, rigging and hoisting, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive systems. The curriculum emphasizes safety protocols and problem-solving techniques essential for a successful career as a millwright, maintenance technician, or industrial mechanic. Upon completion, graduates will be equipped with the foundational skills necessary to enter the workforce or pursue further education in related industrial technologies.
