Purpose
This program is the first two years of study that comprise a bachelor’s degree at a four- year college or university in one of the natural sciences. The foundation in mathematics and science will prepare students for more intensive study in their junior and senior years.

Admission Requirements
Students who meet the admission requirements to the College are eligible for enrollment into the program. Individuals are expected to be proficient in basic English, mathematics and reading. Appropriate developmental courses are available for those who need to update their skills.

Program Description
In addition to English and mathematics, students will complete course in social sciences and humanities. Science sequences are offered in biology, chemistry, and physics.

Employment Outlook
Job prospects should be excellent for those with an education based in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (“STEM”) field. From environmental science to food science to medical science and countless other specialties, opportunities for employment related to science will likely grow much faster than average.
